The location was convenient for my city break, with both golf courses and restaurants nearby. the staff were friendly and always willing to help with any queries. the rooms were comfortable and spacious, with a nice view of the surroundings.
The cleanliness of the rooms left a lot to be desired. the carpets were dirty and outdated and the bathroom was not properly cleaned, with mold growing in the shower and on the ceiling.

The location of the inn was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the mountains. The rooms were large, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and convenient stay. One of the highlights was being able to watch the full moon rise over the mountains, creating a magical ambiance. The bathroom and dressing area were recently renovated with shiny fixtures, adding a touch of elegance to the room. the staff at the inn were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout our stay.
While the inn had many positive aspects, there were a few areas that could be improved. The food at the on-site restaurant was hit or miss.

If you're searching for an affordable and relaxing hotel near Gettysburg, then the Penn National Inn is a great choice. Located on 2 golf courses, it offers a peaceful and scenic setting away from the more touristy areas. the rooms are clean, oversized, and very comfortable, providing a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. the service staff is attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. the restaurant serves delicious meals and the gathering rooms are well suited for group activities.
Take note that the carpeting in the rooms is in need of updating.
